In the beginning, it was simply Joe and his wife Erin. Initially, Joe was the sole technician while Erin handled the books and invoicing. During that time, Joe attended Coffeyville Community College and graduated from Automotive Technical School. As their business began to grow, it became necessary to hire additional technicians and staff to meet the growing demand.

Thornton Auto Care has an assignment larger than automotive repair, but automotive repair is where we have been placed to begin this journey. We have been called to change this service industry from self-centered behavior to customer care; from profit based motives to relationship cultivation. As believers in Jesus Christ, we declare to perform automotive work, working at it with all our heart, as if we were working for the Lord. (See Colossians 3:23)
