Our Warranty
Warranty Policy: Here at TAC we offer a 12,000 mile, 12 month warranty that begins on the invoice generation date. There are a few exceptions:
•       In order to warranty the work, all parts installed on the vehicle have to be provided by TAC and installed by one of ourÂ
     technicians.

•       No warranty (parts & labor) if the vehicle is being used for performance operation (drag racing, dirt track racing, etc)

•       No warranty (parts & labor) If the vehicle has modifications that will strain the parts that have been installed. (Tuning,
     lift kit, oversize tires, etc).

•       No warranty on labor for work done to tractors, side-by-side, ATV, lawn mowers but we will honor parts with
manufacturer's warranty for those vehicles, as long as parts were provided by TAC.

•       No warranty (parts & labor) in the event that used or salvage parts are provided, either by customer or TAC.

•       No warranty (parts & labor) on parts that have been supplied by the customer, regardless of vendor.
In order for a warranty claim to be made, cause of failure has to be determined to be a defective part or technician error. Cause of failure must be present before warranty claim can be made. Cause of failure must be determined by a technician with TAC.
                 Â
Warranty claim repairs must be done by TAC unless otherwise approved by TAC.
Â
Extended Warranty: When selling larger items such as engines, transmissions, transfer cases, etc, the manufacturer or re-manufacturer often offers an extended warranty, usually 3 or 4 years, accompanied with a mileage.
Â
TAC will honor the extended warranty offered by the manufacturer/re-manufacturer, as long as all parts and labor was done by TAC, service records are present to show there has been adequate maintenance, and that neglect or abuse isn't obvious.
Â
All warranty claims can be refused by TAC if foul play is present, another individual has already tried to fix the problem, or if the customer has other outstanding unpaid invoices.
Â
If an issue has been warrantied once and returns again for the same problem, another diagnostic must be performed (covered by TAC) in order to determine cause of failure.
Â
TAC does not agree to pay any towing service in regard to a warranty claim.
Â
If a warranty claim is approved, 100% of the repair bill will be covered by TAC, parts, labor, and taxes.
